We are seeking a friendly and efficient Food Court Attendant to join our dynamic team. This role involves providing excellent customer service, assisting with food preparation, and maintaining a clean and organized food court workplace. The ideal candidate will have experience in food service, cashiering, and food safety protocols, ensuring a positive experience for all guests.

This position offers an opportunity to develop skills in the food industry while contributing to a welcoming atmosphere for visitors.

Responsibilities

- Greet customers warmly and assist with their food orders
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for accurate cash handling and transactions
- Prepare and serve food items following safety and sanitation standards
- Manage food and beverage stations, ensuring cleanliness and proper food handling procedures
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales
- Maintain cleanliness of the food court area, including tables, counters, and seating areas
- Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems and perform basic math calculations as needed




- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards at all times
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as necessary
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries promptly and professionally

Qualifications

- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or food industry preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation, serving, and sanitation practices
- Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude
- Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math calculations
- Understanding of food safety standards and proper handling procedures
- Kitchen experience or restaurant background is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or holidays if required
