Summary

We are seeking a dedicated workers to join our team at Bytown Catering in Ottawa. This role is vital to our mission of delivering top-notch food services by ensuring efficient production processes. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining our high standards of quality and safety.

The available roles are a combination of additional new headcount and backfill from leave.

We have availability in multiple production departments and are looking for:

- Drivers
- Cooks
- Food production workers
- Dishwashers

Overview of Responsibilities for Production

- Operate packaging equipment and ensure proper packaging of food products.
- Assist in the food processing operations while adhering to safety and sanitation protocols.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the production area.
- Monitor product quality throughout the manufacturing process.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals efficiently.
- Follow all food safety guidelines to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment as needed.
- Report any issues or discrepancies to the supervisor promptly.

Overview of Responsibilities for Drivers

- Safely load, transport, and deliver food, beverages, and supplies to catering venues and client locations.




- Ensure timely and accurate deliveries according to event schedules.
- Set up catering stations, buffet tables, and equipment as required.
- Handle food and supplies with care, maintaining presentation and quality standards.
- Assist catering staff during events, including replenishing food and supporting service as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle and equipment.
- Follow safe driving practices and comply with all traffic laws and company policies.
- Provide professional and courteous customer service to clients, guests, and event staff.
- Communicate effectively with the catering team to resolve delivery or setup issues.
- Perform basic recordkeeping, such as delivery logs or equipment checklists.

Employees will require to complete security screening for all positions and applicable training. Some Cold Production Rooms on premise.

We are open 7 days a week/ 365 days a year and candidates must be available to work on weekends.
