Pizzaiolo Restaurant in Grimsby is a well-known establishment dedicated to providing high-quality food and exceptional customer service. We are currently seeking an experienced, motivated and reliable Food attendant/ Kitchen helper to join our team and oversee day-to-day restaurant operations and help grow business in the town to promote this newly opened location in making it a success . We are located on border of stoney creek, hamilton and grimsby .

Job Responsibilities

- Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the activities of food service staff.
- Train employees in job duties, sanitation, food handling, and safety procedures.
- Ensure food quality, presentation, and service standards are consistently met.
- Assist with daily food preparation and maintain adequate inventory levels.
- Address and resolve customer concerns in a professional manner under managers guidance .
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of sales , inventory, and staff attendance while closing during end of the day to report manager with proper cash handling .
- Assist with preparing food orders at line when needed .
- Ensure cleanliness of work areas, dining areas, and equipment.



Must be able to handle ovens during rush hours .

Requirements

- Previous experience in a food service industry or team lead role is preferred.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment And also lifting sometimes heavy inventory.
- Must be available for evening, weekend, and holiday shifts as needed.
- Knowledge of food safety standards is an asset.
