We are seeking a dedicated Food Service Worker to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in providing excellent guest experiences through efficient food service, maintaining high standards of food safety, and ensuring smooth restaurant operations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, strong customer service skills, and experience in the food industry.

This position offers an opportunity to develop skills in food handling, POS systems, and restaurant operations within a fast-paced environment.

Duties

- Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and safety standards
- Operate POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cashiering
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, including cash handling and basic math calculations
- Assist guests with menu selections, take orders, and provide exceptional guest services
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including kitchen and dining spaces




- Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed to meet food safety regulations
- Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure smooth service flow
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Support food preparation tasks such as assembling orders and plating dishes

Skills

- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, with knowledge of food industry standards
- Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, for effective order processing and cashiering
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks during busy periods
- Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and order calculations
- Experience in food preparation, serving, and hospitality operations preferred
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members
