TWINCON ENTERPRISES LTD. is a growing civil construction company serving the Okanagan and Interior of British Columbia. With over 15 years of experience, we specialize in civil earthworks, excavation, underground utilities, road construction, rock breaking, drilling and blasting, and subdivision development.

We are currently looking for an experienced Civil Construction Foreman to join our Kelowna team. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader who can confidently manage a crew, coordinate daily site activities, and ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

About the Role

Reporting to the Site Superintendent, the Civil Construction Foreman is responsible for the day-to-day leadership and coordination of field crews and construction activities. You will work closely with the Superintendent, Project Manager, equipment operators, labourers, subcontractors, and other project personnel to keep work progressing safely and efficiently.

Our projects include earthworks, underground utilities, grading, roadworks, drainage, and site development.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise, lead, and coordinate civil construction crews on site.
- Plan and coordinate daily labour, equipment, materials, and work activities.
- Assign tasks and provide direction to crew members to ensure work is completed efficiently.
- Lead daily toolbox meetings and promote a strong safety culture.
- Ensure work is performed in accordance with project plans, specifications, municipal requirements, and company standards.
- Read and interpret civil drawings, plans, specifications, and grade information.
- Coordinate with equipment operators to ensure excavation, grading, and other work is completed accurately.




- Monitor job progress and communicate updates, challenges, and material or equipment requirements to the Site Superintendent.
- Identify potential site issues and work with the Superintendent to resolve them promptly.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, and other trades as required.
- Monitor the quality of completed work and ensure deficiencies are addressed.
- Maintain daily site records, reports, and required safety documentation.
- Ensure proper environmental controls are maintained, including dust, erosion, sediment, and spill prevention measures.
- Train, mentor, and support crew members to promote safe work practices and skill development.
- Operate equipment or assist with hands-on construction activities when required.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work site.
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and WorkSafeBC requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

- Minimum 5 years of civil construction experience, with previous Foreman or lead-hand experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of civil construction, including earthworks, excavation, underground utilities, grading, drainage, and roadworks.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a construction crew.
- Ability to read and interpret civil construction drawings and specifications.




- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize work and manage changing site conditions.
- Ability to work independently while working effectively as part of a project team.
- Strong commitment to safety, quality, and productivity.
- ValidClass 5 Driver's Licence.
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
- Relevant safety certifications are considered an asset.
