TekStaff's Client has a current vacancy for a Foreign Currency Cash Team Analyst

Duration : This is a 12 month contract located in ON - Scarborough/ Hybrid

Typical Day in Role

- Reporting to the Manager, Cash Processing and Support.
- Booking currency rates for customers.
- Buying and selling currencies from branch staff.
- Inventory for branch network.
- Sending out emails for system issues.
- Taking orders for two cash requests.
- Book rates accordingly and communicate to the third-party provider to send that rate out to the Bank.
- This role is ultimately a foreign currency cash team role supporting the branch network for all foreign currency needs.

Candidate Requirements/Must-Have skills:
1. 1+ years of experience in a customer service-related position.
2. 1+ years of experience in phone customer support – preferably within the financial transactions space.
3. Experience probing and identifying customers' questions – problem-solving and analytical thinking demonstrated in a recent project or position.

Nice-To-Have Skills:
- Prior banking FI experience.




- Experience with foreign currency orders (worked for an exchange bureau or currency exchange in the past).
- Experience with general ledgers, cash orders or any accounting skills would be an asset.

Soft Skills Required

- Excellent communication, both written and verbal, to deal with any ongoing requests or inquiries over the phone.
- Basic ability to work independently and manage one's time.
- Robust multitasking skills as they will be on the phone and inputting orders simultaneously.
- Empathetic to stressful workloads.

Candidate Review & Selection

Interview format

- One round of MS Teams interview with hiring manager and colleague (45 minutes).
- Discuss working experience and assess soft skills.
