What You'll Do

- Read and interpret digital construction drawings
- Plan and structure drill shots for HDD crews
- Mark excavations and hard-surface cuts accurately
- Coordinate and inspect Hydrovac work
- Monitor drilling and backend activities for compliance with design
- Identify and communicate field conflicts to the Superintendent
- Maintain accurate daily documentation and drawing markups
- Support, mentor and coordinate field crews as required
- Ensure company procedures and safety requirements are followed

What We're Looking For

- 2+ years of telecommunications infrastructure experience
- FTTH construction experience
- Strong understanding of HDD, trenching, duct and cable installation
- Experience with shallow utilities, including gas and power




- Secondary line locating experience
- Strong organization, communication and problem-solving skills
- Basic computer skills; MS Office, SiteDocs and Fieldwire experience preferred
- Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence with an acceptable driver's abstract
- First Aid, CSTS and Ground Disturbance Supervisory Level
- Ability to work outdoors in varying conditions and extended hours as projects require

Schedule & Compensation $30.00–$35.00 per hour, based on experience

Full-time, permanent position. Day, night, overtime, on-call and occasional weekend work may be required depending on project needs.

Travel to project sites throughout Alberta & BC may also be required.
