Job Summary

Vamos Events is looking for an experienced Lighting & Event Technician to join our technical team on a freelance, event-by-event basis across the GTA and surrounding areas.

Requirements:

- Hands-on experience with Martin LightJockey (!) lighting control software
- Experience with moving heads and professional event lighting equipment
- Experience with basic sound equipment setup, including speakers, stands and cabling
- Comfortable assisting with full load-in, equipment setup, strike and load-out
- Able to safely lift, carry and move event production equipment, including speakers, lighting fixtures, stands and cases
- Valuable understanding of event-site safety, cabling and proper equipment handling
- Reliable, punctual and able to work efficiently as part of an event production team
- Available for evenings, weekends and late-night load-outs




- Valid Ontario G driver’s licence
- Reliable personal vehicle required for travel to and from varying event locations

Engagement: Freelance / event-based

Compensation:

Agreed per event based on event scope, hours and technical requirements.
