PHYX Rehab and Wellness is a brand-new, multidisciplinary healthcare clinic opening in North Waterloo. We are seeking a highly organized, professional, and patient-focused Front Desk Receptionist with experience in a healthcare setting to join our team.

As the first point of contact, you will play a critical role in delivering an exceptional patient experience while supporting the daily operations of a busy multidisciplinary clinic.

Key Responsibilities

- Greet and welcome patients in a warm, professional, and courteous manner
- Manage phone calls, emails, and appointment scheduling efficiently
- Coordinate bookings for physiotherapy, massage therapy, chiropractic, and other services
- Handle patient check-in/check-out and maintain smooth front desk operations
- Process payments and assist with direct billing to insurance providers
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in EMR systems
- Communicate effectively with healthcare practitioners to ensure seamless patient care
- Ensure reception and waiting areas are clean, organized, and professional
- Support general administrative and operational tasks within the clinic

Required Qualifications

- Healthcare Administrative background (required)
- Minimum 1+ year experience in a healthcare or multidisciplinary clinic (required)
- Strong understanding of clinic workflows and patient coordination
- Experience with EMR systems and online booking platforms
- Familiarity with direct billing and insurance processes




- Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Professional, reliable, and detail-oriented
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced clinic environment

- Monday to Friday
