We are searching for an experienced Front End Loader Operator to join our hardworking crew here in the Okanagan.

The ideal candidate must have 5+ years of experience working in the sand and gravel industry, as well as:

- Experience around equipment
- Eye for detail
- Good communication skills
- Great work ethic and attitude
- Attentive to safety standards

Wage will be based upon experience. **Please note that we are not accepting out-of-country resumes at this time.

Responsibilities:

- Must be able to communicate effectively with others
- Must complete pre-operation inspections on equipment
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision
- Must be able to work well with others
- Must perform daily safety and maintenance checks for equipment
- Must perform daily maintenance on equipment
- Must be able to assist in shoveling and changing crusher screens

Education & Experience:

- Must have experience loading aggregate for crushing
- Must have experience loading trucks
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the sand and gravel industry is preferred
- Mechanical skills is an asset




- Any experience driving a rock truck or operating an excavator is an asset
- Computer skills is an asset

Physical Demands:

- Lifting up to 50lbs
- Sitting for extended periods of time
- Climbing on and off equipment
- Working in varying temperatures and weather conditions

Work Environment:

- Working outdoors in all seasons
- Working around heavy equipment
- Exposure to dust and loud noises
