Responsibilities

- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take customer orders accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring efficient processing of transactions including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Assist with food and beverage service, including upselling menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas, counters, and service stations in accordance with food safety regulations
- Manage wait times effectively through excellent time management skills, ensuring prompt seating and service delivery




- Handle customer inquiries or complaints professionally, resolving issues promptly to ensure guest satisfaction
- Support food handling and basic food preparation tasks as needed to assist kitchen staff during busy periods

Skills

- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with strong guest services skills
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS for efficient transaction processing
- Excellent time management abilities to juggle multiple tables and tasks seamlessly
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and billing purposes
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
- Experience in upselling menu items to maximize sales opportunities while enhancing the guest experience
- Kitchen experience or understanding of food preparation processes is a plus but not required
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting
- A positive attitude with a passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional customer service

Pay: From $17.60 per hour
