This role is based in a heavy industrial, unionized, and highly operational environment where technical expertise, autonomy, and fast problem-solving skills are essential on a daily basis.Main ResponsibilitiesPerform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical and automated equipmentCarry out electrical repairs, upgrades, and installations on production equipmentDiagnose and resolve complex issues related to PLCs, variable frequency drives, and industrial communication networksTroubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systemsParticipate in the maintenance of various industrial equipment such as conveyors, pumps, overhead cranes,
etc.Follow maintenance procedures and ISO 14001 standardsWork in a chemical industrial setting requiring full PPE at all timesProvide technical support to production and supervisory teamsWorking ConditionsStarting salary: $45/hourSalary progression up to $58/hour after 2,000 hours workedFixed day shift schedule: 7:30 AM to 3:30 PMFrequent paid overtime opportunitiesComprehensive group insurance including medical, dental, and telemedicine coverageRRSP with employer contributionPermanent unionized positionVacation offered upon hiringValid work permit with more than one year remaining acceptedHiring process includes plant visit and mandatory technical evaluationsYour profile
