GFL is seeking an experienced Facility Mechanic with a strong mechanical background. You will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing a variety of equipment such as balers and conveyors. This position is crucial for responding to system failures and ensuring preventive maintenance is carried out efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform repairs according to OSHA safety standards
• Conduct preventive maintenance inspections on equipment
• Diagnose defects and repair various machinery types
• Safely operate tools and equipment during maintenance
• Maintain a clean and safe work area per corporate standards
Requirements:
• High School diploma or GED required
• Minimum three years of mechanical experience
• Must possess own tools for the job
• Flexibility to work nights and weekends as needed
• Solid knowledge of maintenance procedures and regulations
