Duties

- Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and quality standards, maintaining consistency and presentation.
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems, including Micros POS, to process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling, cashiering, and balancing registers at the end of shifts.
- Provide friendly and attentive customer service, addressing guest inquiries, taking orders, and upselling menu items to enhance their experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, kitchen equipment, and dining areas in compliance with food safety regulations.




- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely order fulfillment and smooth restaurant operations.
- Follow proper food handling procedures, uphold sanitation standards, and ensure all health regulations are met consistently.

Qualifications

- Previous food service experience or restaurant background is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food industry standards.
- Experience with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is advantageous.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask efficiently during peak hours.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, order totaling, and change calculation.
- Understanding of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
- Kitchen experience or familiarity with food industry operations is a plus.
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently to increase sales opportunities.
