The Days Inn Calgary North Balzac is looking for a Full-Time Front Desk Agent/Night Auditor. The Days Inn Calgary North Balzac is located at 292243 Wagon Wheel Blvd, Balzac, AB. Please note public transit is not available directly to the hotel.

We are looking for a Front Desk Agent to join our team. You will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of greeting and checking-in guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will be legally entitled to work in Canada, be able to follow operational guidelines, and provide customer service that make guests feel warmly cared for and welcomed.

What You'll Do:
- Greet and check-in guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Provide excellent customer service to guests, addressing their inquiries and resolving any issues or complaints
- Handle guest requests for information, such as directions or recommendations for local attractions
- Operate the hotel phone system, transferring calls and taking messages accurately
- Process the night audittasks, including reconciling accounts and preparing reports

Maintain a clean and organized front desk area

11:00pm-7:00am.

Your Background

- The successful candidate must be a driven, self starter who is motivated and eager to learn.




- You will excel at customer service as you would be the first point of contact for arriving and departing guests.
- Perform front desk duties during the evening as well as end-of-day accounting duties.
- Preference will be given to those applicants with basic computer skills, previous customer service experience, and previous hotel experience including using the OPERA property management system.
- You must have a strong work ethic, dedication to guest service, and be reliable and self-motivated.
- The ideal candidate will be friendly, love to smile, and exude Prairie Hospitality by making every guest feel warmly cared for and always welcome.
- Candidates must have excellent English skills.
