Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Full Time Retail Assistant to join our vibrant Pet retail team! Duties

- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs, ensuring a positive experience from start to finish
- Conduct engaging product demonstrations and provide detailed explanations of features and perks to help customers make informed decisions
- Manage merchandising displays to keep the store attractive, organized, and stocked with the latest products
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for transactions including cash handling, credit card processing, and receipts
- Upsell complementary products and accessories to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining customer satisfaction
- Handle cashiering duties efficiently, including processing returns, exchanges,



and managing cash register operations with precision
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and courtesy

Experience

- Previous retail sales experience or technical sales experience preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Multilingual or bilingual skills are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs effectively
- Demonstrated ability in merchandising, product demos, and upselling techniques
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical products clearly and confidently
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and managing inventory counts
- Proven organizational skills to manage time effectively in a busy retail environment
- Experience using POS systems, cash registers, or similar technology is advantageous
