Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring quick and efficient transactions
- Assist with food preparation, food handling, and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen area to uphold food safety standards
- Serve food and beverages promptly while upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
- Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including cashiering and balancing registers at shift end
- Maintain sanitation and hygiene standards by following proper cleaning procedures and food safety protocols
- Support team members during busy periods by managing time effectively and multitasking efficiently
Qualifications
- Previous food service or restaurant experience is highly preferred; familiarity with the food industry is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
- Experience with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is advantageous
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and basic math for cash handling and order calculations
- Ability to manage time effectively in a rapid-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic kitchen experience or food preparation skills are beneficial but not required
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a team in a hospitality setting
