Systems Analyst - Senior/Functional Consultant

Description

Responsibilities

- Provide senior technical leadership for IT projects and application development.

- Work with clients to understand their needs and recommend cost-effective technology solutions.

- Analyze and design system architecture and technical solutions.

- Gather business requirements and convert them into technical specifications.

- Lead the development, testing, integration, implementation, and maintenance of applications.

- Manage technical aspects of projects throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

- Plan project activities, resources, timelines, estimates, and provide project status updates.

- Lead teams working with relational and multidimensional databases.

- Design and develop complex applications using relational and multidimensional databases.

- Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analysis for proposed IT solutions.

- Evaluate and recommend software, hardware, technologies, and products.

- Provide implementation and post-implementation support.

- Ensure application development follows quality standards, tools, and best practices.

- Guide and mentor junior technical analysts/developers.

- Create and maintain technical and project documentation.





- Review business requirements and provide feedback to ensure they are technically feasible.

Minimum Requirements

- Strong knowledge of Supply Chain and related business processes, including Product Information Management, Master Planning, Procure-to-Pay, and Order-to-Cash

- Strong understanding of enterprise application environments and system integration concepts.

- Ability to translate business requirements into detailed system-level designs and configurations

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail

- Robust communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal)

- Demonstrated ability to lead solution workshops, facilitate technical discussions, and align business and technical stakeholders on solution approaches

- Ability to work effectively in Agile or hybrid delivery environments

- Proficiency with tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Lucid chart (or similar)

- Ability to support production environments, troubleshoot issues, and resolve incidents independently

- Strong collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills across business and technical teams

- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

- Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities for system optimization, automation, and continuous improvement
