FLOGEN Stars Outreach is a non-profit organization advancing sustainable development through science, technology, and engineering. Through international programs and the Sustainable Industrial Processing Summit (SIPS), FLOGEN connects scientists, engineers, industry professionals, students, educators, and organizations working toward a more sustainable future.

Position

FLOGEN Stars Outreach is seeking a Non-Profit Fundraiser Intern to support fundraising, donor outreach, sponsorship development, and community engagement.

This is a hands-on opportunity for someone interested in fundraising, sales, marketing, business development, non-profit organizations, sustainability, and international development.

You will help identify potential donors and sponsors, develop outreach campaigns, communicate with organizations and individuals, and support fundraising initiatives that advance FLOGEN's programs.

Key ResponsibilitiesFundraising & Donor Outreach

- Research and identify potential donors, sponsors, foundations, companies, and funding opportunities
- Conduct professional email and phone outreach
- Assist with donor prospecting and lead generation
- Develop and maintain donor and prospect contact lists
- Follow up with prospective donors and sponsors
- Track outreach, responses, donations, and follow-ups
- Help communicate FLOGEN's mission and fundraising initiatives

Sponsorship & Business Development
- Research potential corporate sponsors and partners
- Assist with sponsorship and partnership outreach




- Help identify organizations aligned with sustainability, STEM, education, and social development
- Build professional relationships with prospective supporters
- Assist with sponsorship proposals and promotional materials

Marketing & Communications
- Support fundraising campaigns and promotional initiatives
- Create professional emails, announcements, newsletters, and outreach materials
- Assist with social media and online fundraising promotion
- Help communicate the impact of donations and sponsorships
- Research new fundraising and outreach channels

Non-Profit & Event Support
- Support fundraising activities connected to FLOGEN programs and SIPS 2026
- Assist with donor, sponsor, participant, and partner communications
- Help coordinate fundraising-related meetings and activities
- Prepare contact lists, documents, presentations, and promotional materials
- Provide organizational support before and during events

Research & Administration
- Conduct donor, market, industry, and funding research
- Identify new fundraising and partnership opportunities
- Maintain spreadsheets, databases, and contact information
- Track fundraising activities and results
- Assist with general non-profit administration and project coordination

What We're Looking For
- Strong written and spoken English
- Interest in fundraising, sales, marketing, and non-profit organizations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable contacting new people and organizations
- Outgoing, organized, proactive, and detail-oriented
- Comfortable with professional follow-ups and relationship building




- Able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Comfortable conducting online research
- Experience in fundraising, sales, marketing, business development, customer service, communications, or event planning is an asset
- Experience with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, spreadsheets, or CRM systems is an asset
- Knowledge of sustainability, ESG, clean technology, or STEM is an asset
- Non-profit experience is an asset

You will have the chance to develop practical fundraising and sales skills, build professional relationships with donors and organizations, support international sustainability initiatives, and contribute directly to the growth of FLOGEN Stars Outreach.

Pay: From $32,000.00 per year
