: Gardener-Team Leader

Isidore Landscapes Inc. has been designing, installing, and maintaining landscapes in the Lower Mainland since 1994. Our landscape maintenance team specializes in gardens requiring horticultural expertise and specialized service.

We are looking to hire Gardeners to help keep up with our increasing amount of work in residential and commercial landscape installations.

We offer opportunities for training and advancement and encourage our team members to develop their skills and grow within the company.

Min 1 year of proven experience in landscape maintenance with horticultural knowledge is required.

Key Duties of the position include:

- Plan, coordinate and supervise site work
- Instruct, train and provide feedback to other crew members
- Install and maintain seasonal planting
- Monitor and maintain the health of plants, report notable observations to the client service rep.
- Carry out planting, cultivation, mowing, trimming, edging & weeding
- Provide aeration, lime & fertilizers to lawns.
- Pruning of shrubs, trees, ground covers, hedges, and other plants.
- Operate landscaping vehicles and maintenance equipment including wood chipper, ride-on lawn mowers, etc...
- Operate and maintain all gardening equipment including mowers, trimmers, leaf blowers and hand tools such as rakes, pruners, snips,



spades and wheelbarrows.
- Document work done and garden conditions through company-provided software apps.
- Represent Isidore Landscapes positively.

Requirements:
- Ability to communicate fluently in English, both oral and written
- Horticultural knowledge and passion for plants.
- Physically capable, able to lift 40-60 pounds regularly.
- Reliable and dependable with a solid work ethic.
- Able to follow safe work practices.
- Ability to arrive at job sites independently.
- Valid BC Driver's License
- Min year proven experience in landscape maintenance

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $26-30 per hour

- 4% vacation pay

Schedule:
- 10-hour shift, option for 3-day weekends
