About the Position

Domo is looking for a reliable, motivated, and customer-focused Gas Station Assistant Manager to join our team at our 954 Albert Street location.

The Assistant Manager will support the Store Manager with the daily operation of the gas station and convenience store. This position involves customer service, sales, cash handling, employee supervision, ordering, scheduling, payroll, and maintaining the store and property.

The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, comfortable taking responsibility, and able to lead a team in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide friendly, professional, and consistent customer service.
- Sell fuel, automotive products, and all in-store merchandise, including tobacco products.
- Process cash, credit/debit, and fleet card transactions accurately.
- Perform customer services such as fueling vehicles and cleaning windshields.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store and gas bar.
- Perform cleaning and general maintenance of both indoor and outdoor property.
- Place product orders and maintain appropriate inventory levels.
- Receive, stock, and merchandise products.
- Prepare employee schedules.
- Assist with payroll and maintaining accurate employee records.
- Supervise, train, and provide direction to employees.
- Ensure employees follow Domo policies, procedures,



and customer service standards.
- Handle customer questions, concerns, and complaints professionally.
- Ensure accurate cash handling and proper completion of daily procedures.
- Act as the manager on duty when the Store Manager is absent.
- Be available on-call when required in the absence of the Store Manager.
- Assist with the overall operation and success of the store.

Qualifications

- Previous retail, gas station, convenience store, or customer service experience is preferred.
- Previous supervisory or management experience is as asset.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently.
- Comfortable handling cash and financial transactions.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Ability to stand and work on your feet for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be willing to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Compensation & Schedule

- $15.85 per hour
- Up to $300 in a monthly bonus
