Services is seeking a General Accountant to join our Finance. In this role, you'll be involved in all aspects of the accounting cycle, including accounts payable, bank reconciliations, financial reporting, month-end processes, and payment administration.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to expand their accounting experience in a collaborative and fast-paced environment. While this position is being recruited as a temporary job, there may be future opportunities within the organization for the successful candidate.

What You'll Do

As a General Accountant, you will support the day-to-day accounting operations of a growing organization by ensuring accurate financial records, timely payment processing, and reliable financial reporting.

Duties include but are not limited to:

- Processing invoices, vendor payments, expense allocations, and account reconciliations.
- Managing daily banking activities, deposits, and bank reconciliations.
- Preparing journal entries, maintaining general ledger accounts, and supporting financial reporting.
- Assisting with month-end and year-end close processes, audits, and financial analysis.
- Processing adjuster and contractor payments and supporting commission reconciliations.
- Identifying opportunities to improve accounting processes,



controls, and efficiencies.
- Collaborating with internal teams to provide accurate financial information and support business operations

This role is ideal for an accounting professional who enjoys a variety of responsibilities, has strong attention to detail, and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

What You'll Bring

- Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
