General Construction Labourer

Salary Range: $20-$28/hr

Hours of Work: 50-60 hours/week

Location: Headingley, MB

Employment Type: Full-Time Seasonal

As a growing civil infrastructure contractor delivering municipal and commercial projects throughout Manitoba. We are seeking experienced Heavy Equipment Operators to expand our field operations.

Role Overview

General Construction Labourer duties Include but are not limited to:

- Assist with construction activities such as site preparation, basework, grading, and concrete/asphalt preparation.
- Operate hand tools and small equipment (cut-saws, compactors, etc.)
- Operate heavy equipment as needed (Packer, Loader, etc.)
- Support heavy equipment operators on the ground as needed
- Perform physical tasks such as digging, leveling, and clean-up




- Follow all safety procedures and company policies

Requirements:

- Previous construction or labour experience preferred (roadwork experience is an asset)
- Ability to perform physically demanding work (lifting, bending, standing for long periods)
- Valid Drivers License (Class 5 is required, Class 3 is an asset)
- Ability to operate heavy equipment is an asset
- Solid work ethic and reliability
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Ability to work outside in all weather conditions
- Willingness to work extended hours, including weekends if required
