Role Description The General Construction Worker role is a full-time or part-time, on-site position based in Windsor, ON. This role involves performing a range of construction tasks such as assisting with framing, masonry work, flooring installation, and renovation activities on residential projects. Daily responsibilities include loading and unloading materials, site preparation and cleanup, operating basic hand and power tools, and supporting skilled tradespeople as needed.

and help ensure projects are completed efficiently and to company quality standards.

Qualifications

- Experience in general Construction tasks, including assisting with framing, site preparation, and finishing work.
- Skills in Masonry work, such as basic brick, block, or stone work and mortar handling.
- Exposure to Renovation projects, including tear-outs, repairs, and upgrades in residential settings.
- Flooring experience, such as installation or removal of hardwood, laminate, tile, or other common materials.
- Ability to perform basic Research related to materials, methods, and construction best practices as directed.
- Robust awareness of workplace safety practices and willingness to follow company safety procedures.
- Physical ability to lift materials, work on ladders, and perform manual labor in varying weather conditions.
- Reliable transportation to Windsor, ON job sites and ability to arrive punctually.
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with supervisors and teammates.
- Previous experience in residential construction or related trades is an asset; relevant certifications or apprenticeship training are beneficial.
