Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled General Contractor to lead and oversee construction projects from inception to completion. This role is vital in ensuring that all aspects of building, renovation, and restoration projects are executed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. As a key leader in office, you will coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, clients, and internal teams to deliver exceptional results while maintaining strict adherence to safety regulations and project timelines.

Your expertise in construction processes and technical skills will drive project success and client satisfaction.

Duties

- Manage and supervise all phases of construction projects, ensuring work is completed on schedule, within scope, and budget.
- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide project execution.
- Coordinate the procurement of materials and equipment, including heavy machinery operation and delivery schedules.
- Oversee the use of hand tools, power tools, concrete forming, masonry, carpentry, electrical systems, plumbing, welding, flooring installation, tile laying, cabinetry installation, painting, caulking, concrete finishing, restoration work, and other trades involved in the project.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards by conducting regular site inspections and enforcing safety protocols among workers.
- Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements and provide accurate construction estimating.




- Supervise subcontractors and labor crews to ensure quality workmanship across all trades.
- Monitor project progress through detailed documentation and reporting; adjust plans as needed to meet deadlines.
- Address unforeseen issues promptly by applying problem-solving skills and technical knowledge in construction schematics.

Experience

- Proven experience as a General Contractor or similar leadership role within the construction industry.
- Extensive knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating processes.
- Hands-on experience with a wide range of construction trades including carpentry, masonry, electrical work, plumbing, welding, concrete finishing, tile laying, flooring installation, cabinetry installation, painting, restoration projects, caulking techniques, heavy equipment operation (such as cranes or excavators), and construction safety protocols.
- Familiarity with construction software tools for project management is preferred.
- Strong understanding of building codes and regulatory compliance across various types of projects.
- Ability to lead diverse teams effectively while maintaining high standards for quality and safety.
