Canadian Swine Academy is recruiting on behalf of Schlegelhome Farms, a family-owned agricultural business, located near Shakespeare, Ontario. We are looking for a General Farm Worker to join the team.

Job Duties:

· Plant, fertilize, cultivate, spray, irrigate and harvest crops

· Feed and tend livestock and poultry

· Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment

· Set and monitor water lines, air flow and temperature in barns, pens and chicken coops

· Clean stables, barns, barnyards and pens.

· Assist with minor farm projects

Requirements for Application:

· Able to work in a fast-paced environment

· Able to read, write and speak English

· Ability to commute to the work site

Ideal Candidate:

· Experience working with livestock

· Flexible availability – weekend work is required

· Self-motivated





Compensation:
