We are seeking reliable and hardworking individuals to join our vegetable farming team. The successful candidates will be responsible for a variety of tasks aimed at maintaining crop health, harvesting, and preparing produce for market.

Key duties include

Key Responsibilities

- Apply hoeing techniques between crop rows to control weeds and maintain soil health
- Clean crops and collect brush and debris from fields, pens, and other work areas
- Cut agricultural crops and seeds according to farm standards
- Divide freshly harvested produce into marketable and non-marketable lots
- Grade vegetables by size, shape, color, and volume for maximum market value
- Hand-harvest vegetables for shipment
- Plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops
- Perform seed cutting and weeding as needed
- Fertilize and spray crops as directed
- Harvest crops and load, unload, and transfer crates, supplies, farm produce, livestock, and poultry
- Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment safely
- Examine products for quality and market readiness
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas





Work Environment & Physical Demands:
- Quick-paced environment with repetitive tasks
- Work under tight deadlines and pressure
- Requires handling heavy loads
- Physically demanding; requires manual dexterity, good hand-eye coordination, and attention to detail
- Standing for extended periods; frequent bending, crouching, kneeling; combination of sitting, standing, and walking
- Work is primarily outdoors in all weather conditions, including wet/damp, hot, cold/refrigerated, noisy, dusty, and odorous environments
- Tasks may be dirty at times

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in fruit and vegetable farming is an asset, but not required
- Willingness to work outdoors in variable weather conditions
- Ability to perform physically demanding work for extended periods
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Strong work ethic and teamwork skills
