GENERAL LABOURER HELPER BOOM TRUCK / STRIKER

Acadia Atlantic ULC (Acadia Marjam) is a market leading supplier of drywall, steel studs, insulation, ceiling systems and other construction material.

We are currently seeking a motivated individual for the position of Striker (Boom truck general labour helper) for our Dartmouth, N.S. location.

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following attributes and qualifications:

- Capable of lifting and carrying up to 100lbs (2 person lift)
- Team player
- Problem solving skills
- Capable of following and executing simple instructions
- Basic math skills
- Shift flexibility
- Reliable means of transportation
- Strong communication skills

Assets:

- Class 5, 3 or 1 Drivers License
- Forklift certification
- Experience handling heavy material
- Experience in warehousing

Schedule: Our schedule is Monday to Friday 8-to-12-hour day shifts.

On occasion,



you will be required to work on Holidays and be available on weekends.

Ability to commute/relocate:

- contruction material handling: 1 year (preferred)
- drywall handling: 1 year (preferred)
