We are seeking a motivated and dependable General Labourer to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Assist with site preparation, including clearing debris and organizing materials to facilitate ongoing work
- Support skilled tradespeople by carrying tools, equipment, and supplies to designated areas
- Perform general cleanup tasks to maintain a safe and tidy work environment
- Load and unload materials safely, following proper handling procedures
- Follow safety protocols at all times, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) and reporting hazards promptly
- Support the setup and breakdown of work zones, including fencing and signage as needed
- Participate in routine inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and project specifications
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
- Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately
- Basic understanding of safety procedures in a construction or industrial environment
- Prior experience in general labour or construction is a plus but not required
- Reliable transportation or access to work sites as needed
