We are seeking dedicated and hardworking Laborers to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks that support our operations and ensure the smooth functioning of our daily work. This role requires physical stamina, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work in a team environment.
Open to all applicants, position would also suit someone who is semi-retired or retired.
Responsibilities
- Perform general lot and landscape maintenance of work areas
- Perform litter pick/lot maintenance at least 2 days per week (4-6hrs/day) to start
- Can lead to transition to snow shovelling during the winter possibly (equipment experience a plus)
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Follow instructions from supervisors to complete tasks efficiently
- Maintain a safe working workplace
Experience
- Previous experience in labor-intensive roles is preferred but not required
- Familiarity and knowledge of equipment and basic hand tools
- Ability to lift and perform physically demanding tasks
- Strong communication skills and ability to follow directions accurately
- Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities as needed
- Knowledge and experience pruning small trees and shrubs a plus, but not required
- Drivers license required
