Purpose of the position

We are looking for a General Manager to manage a rental building in Pointe-Claire. If you are known for being a team player who enjoys taking on challenges, this position is perfect for you!

Specifically, your daily life with us will look like :

- Manage rent collection and deposits according to established standards
- Plan tenant arrivals and departures and see to the optimal execution of these activities while ensuring the safety and security of the building and its occupants
- Work with the real estate manager / capital assets director and other team members to plan capital works and register files with the R e9gie du logement
- Ensure that business processes are effective and resident services are of a high quality
- Ensure information is disseminated throughout the complex
- Ensure optimal management of your building
- Provide a high level of customer service
- Coordinate the work of the housekeeping and maintenance teams
- Perform staff assessment
- Manage the different teams that offer services to the building




- Take appropriate action during any emergency situation that may arise in the establishment
- Effectively take and respond to complaints from the residents
- Establish quality standards that are in keeping with established norms
- Work to ensure that the teams skills and knowledge is updated and maintained
- Produce required reports
- Prepare information packets for customers
- Prepare rental contracts

- Proven ability to sell
- Ability to develop relationships
- Good judgment and priority management
- Good sense of organization
- Good analytical skills, good judgment

Required qualifications :

- 1 year of relevant experience will be considered an important asset
- Valuable sense of interpersonal communication
- Bilingualism both oral and written
- A good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook (an asset)
- A working knowledge of the software system Hopem (an asset)
- A working knowledge of real estate management
