We are seeking a dynamic and strategic General Manager to lead our retail operations with enthusiasm and expertise. Responsibilities

- Lead and manage daily store operations, ensuring high standards of customer service, merchandising, and sales performance.
- Recruit, train, and develop team members, fostering a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth.
- Oversee inventory management, including purchasing, pricing strategies, and stock replenishment to maximize profitability.
- Implement effective marketing initiatives to attract new customers and retain existing ones, utilizing promotional campaigns and local outreach.
- Handle financial responsibilities such as budgeting, payroll processing, cash handling, bookkeeping, and sales reporting to ensure fiscal health.
- Supervise cashiering activities, POS (Point of Sale) systems, and customer transactions with accuracy and professionalism.
- Conduct regular staff evaluations, coaching sessions, and training programs to enhance team skills in sales management, customer service, and operational procedures.
- Maintain compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and legal requirements related to retail management.




- Utilize strong communication skills to liaise with vendors, suppliers, and internal departments for smooth store operations.
- Manage time effectively to prioritize tasks in a busy environment while ensuring organizational goals are met efficiently.

Experience

- Proven supervisory or managerial experience within retail or a similar customer-focused environment.
- Demonstrated success in retail sales management with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
- Experience in recruiting, interviewing, training & development of staff members.
- Knowledge of merchandising strategies, pricing techniques, and inventory control practices.
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, payroll processing, and bookkeeping software.
- Excellent negotiation skills paired with bilingual or multilingual abilities are considered advantageous for diverse customer engagement.
- Effective communication skills complemented by leadership qualities that motivate teams toward shared goals.
- Ability to manage budgets responsibly while maintaining high standards of customer service excellence.

Pay Scale On top of the base hourly wage we have a favourable bonus program, a benefits program, and tips.
