General Manager of a Full Service Hotel

MLS Management is a locally company who owns and operates 5 hotels. We are looking for an experienced general manager to run a successful operation at the Clarion Pointe Hotel, Tapp’s Neighborhood Pub and Cold Beer Market.

This role will be in a busy and successful hotel located Winnipeg, the hotel offers comfortable and modern amenities along with an onsite restaurant, pub and beer store. With a friendly and service oriented environment, this full service hotel is looking for a General Manager to deliver on the vision and mission of the hotel, as well as uphold their corporate culture.

The General Manager will anticipate the needs and exceed the expectations of the ownership, their customers, and their employees by achieving profitability and customer service goals all while providing their employees an exceptional place to work.

The General Manager Role:

- Oversee and manage all areas of the hotel including guest facilities, the restaurant, pub and a busy beer vendor.
- Maintain patron satisfaction by monitoring, evaluating, and auditing food,



beverage, and service offerings.
- Build, develop and improve upon hospitality services and initiatives.
- Provide human resource leadership as it relates to recruitment, orientation, training, scheduling, coaching, performance reviews, counseling, compensation and disciplinary actions.
- Promote a safe, secure, and healthy facility by establishing, following, and enforcing sanitation standards and procedures.

You and Your Experience

- You have a minimum of 5 years’ management experience in the food and beverage in the hospitality industry.
- You have experience working within a corporate restaurant and/or hospitality full service hotel chain
- You are experienced with the management of budgets and in forecasting.
- Your communication skills, both written and verbal, are solid and clear.
- You possess an excellent customer service attitude and enjoy building relationships.
- You are a hands on, roll up the sleeves type manager who leads by example.
- Though not required, having completed post-secondary education in Restaurant & Hospitality Management.

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $60,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
