Elcom Tunisie , founded in 2015 in Djebel Oust (Zaghouan Governorate), is the Tunisian subsidiary of the Italian group El.com (headquartered in Brescia), an industrial manufacturing leader specializing in high-technology electrical wiring systems and harnesses for automotive, electromechanical, and industrial sectors.

Experiencing continuous growth and strategic expansion, Elcom Tunisie currently operates across 3 production plants totaling approximately 18,000 m² and employs over 1,000 personnel . To drive sustainable operational growth, industrial efficiency, and local management development, we are seeking a General Manager Tunisia .

Posizione

Reporting directly to the Group Executive Management , the General Manager Tunisia will hold overall strategic, operational, and organizational responsibility for the group's manufacturing sites in Tunisia. The GM will ensure the achievement of financial, production, quality, and organizational objectives, maintaining full alignment with the Italian headquarters' standards and goals.

Key Responsibilities:

- Leadership & Organizational Management: Direct and develop the local leadership team (Production, Quality, Logistics & Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, HR, Administration & Finance). Foster a high-performance culture focused on accountability, continuous improvement, and talent retention.
- Industrial Operations & Strategy: Oversee plant efficiency, production planning, resource allocation, and operational flows to consistently achieve target productivity, cost, delivery (OTD), and quality standards. Lead Lean Manufacturing initiatives and the rollout of new projects.
- Financial Control & Performance: Set budgets, forecasts, and cost optimization plans while actively monitoring industrial KPIs (EBITDA, OEE, conversion costs, scrap/rework).
- Quality & Customer Satisfaction: Enforce Group and customer quality standards,



monitoring PPM and complaints while acting as a key escalation contact for strategic customers during operational issues.
- Safety, Compliance & Governance: Ensure strict adherence to local laws, occupational health and safety standards, and environmental regulations. Maintain strong relations with local institutions and stakeholders.
- HQ Coordination: Serve as the primary bridge between Tunisian plant operations and the Group Executive Management in Italy.

Requisiti: Education & Experience:

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Economics, or related fields. An MBA or advanced executive management degree is considered a strong plus.
- Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in industrial leadership or General Management roles within structured manufacturing companies.
- Industry Background: Strong preference for candidates from electrical wiring/harnesses, automotive, electromechanical, or labor-intensive manufacturing sectors.
- Plant Scale: Proven track record of managing large manufacturing sites with 500+ employees.
- Demonstrated experience in change management, KPI implementation, and management development.

Technical & Leadership Skills:

- Deep understanding of industrial metrics (OEE, OTD, industrial EBITDA, conversion costs, scrap rate).
- Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing, Supply Chain management, and industrial cost accounting.
- Solid strategic leadership combined with a pragmatic, hands-on, and results-oriented mindset.

Language Requirements:

- French: Fluent / Native (preferred).
- Italian: Fluent (highly preferred for seamless integration with Italian HQ).
- English: Professional working proficiency (preferred).
