SCOPE OF THE JOB As a new and cutting-edge electric automobile brand in North America, we are looking for high caliber Automotive Service Technicians. In this role, your expertise will be relied upon to diagnose and perform a wide range of automotive service and mechanical repairs.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS

Ability to effectively diagnose and repair a wide range of automotive service, mechanical, electrical, and software issues

Promptly and efficiently perform all necessary work as stated in work orders

Frequently communicate with Service staff on all work required to ensure alignment on timelines and expectations

Obtain parts from parts department and return parts as required

Escalate and clearly communicate all difficult repairs to the Lead Technician to ensure prompt solutions

Maintain consistent understanding and compliance with VinFast policies and procedures

Adhere to all safety and security regulations in the workplace

Constant learning and upgrading of knowledge base via VinFast training and courses

Ability, at times, to discuss issues with customers in a professional and courteous manner

Ensure that the shop is clean and tidy

Other related duties as required

WHAT YOU BRING

A minimum of 4 years of experience as an Automotive Technician, previous experience with an electric automobile brand preferred

Provincial Red Seal Certification (or equivalent)

Valid driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract/record

Knowledge of mechanical, electrical and electronic vehicle components, past Electric Vehicle experience an asset

Experience with electrical diagnostics and understanding of wiring diagrams





Flexibility to work retail business hours, including Saturdays
