Glass Bead / Receiving Area Technician

Conovey Inc. — Conveyor Systems Manufacturer

Conovey designs and builds custom conveyor systems for clients across food, pharmaceutical, and industrial sectors. We're hiring a hands-on technician to take ownership of our glass bead blasting operation and receiving area.

What you'll do

- Operate the glass bead blasting cabinet to finish stainless steel components and weldments
- Receive incoming shipments: verify packing slips against POs, inspect for damage, and route material to the correct project bay
- Tag and stage parts by job number so the shop floor can find what they need, when they need it
- Maintain a clean, organized receiving area and blast booth — including media changes, filter checks, and basic preventive maintenance
- Flag shortages, damaged goods, or mis-shipments to the project coordinator promptly
- Support shipping when needed: crating, labeling, and load-out of finished assemblies

What we're looking for

- Experience in a fabrication,



machine shop, or industrial receiving workplace
- Comfortable operating blast equipment (or willing to be trained — we'll teach the right person)
- Able to lift 50 lbs and stay on your feet through a shift
- Forklift ticket is an asset; we'll certify you if you don't have one
- Solid attention to detail — wrong part to the wrong bay costs us a day
- Basic computer skills for logging receipts and reading drawings
