Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Glass Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and replacing various types of glass in residential, commercial, and restoration projects. Your expertise will help ensure the safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of our clients' spaces.

Responsibilities

- Measure and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to determine glass specifications and installation requirements
- Safely handle and operate hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment necessary for glass installation
- Install glass panels, windows, doors, mirrors, and storefronts with precision and care
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, caulking, sealing, and applying appropriate finishing techniques to ensure secure and weatherproof installations
- Collaborate with team members such as carpenters, plumbers, welders, and painters to coordinate project tasks effectively
- Conduct restoration work by replacing damaged or outdated glass components in existing structures




- Follow safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with industry standards

Requirements

- Proven experience in construction or related fields with a focus on glass installation preferred
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as saws, drills, levels, and caulking guns
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
- Knowledge of carpentry, construction painting, flooring installation, tile laying, plumbing, welding, and restoration is a plus
- Robust understanding of safety procedures related to handling glass and construction materials
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail during measurements and installations
- Physical stamina to lift heavy materials and work at heights or in confined spaces as needed
