Cobble Beach is Georgian Bay’s extraordinary waterfront golf resort community. This prestigious community has been designed as a four-season resort, with a selection of amenities embracing the Georgian Bay workplace.

Cobble Beach Golf

Links is a world class golf facility designed by Doug Carrick, that opened in 2007. Since then, the community has flourished with dozens of homes and townhouses built, US Open style tennis courts, a plunge pool, a 300 ft dock, and 18 km of trails. As Cobble Beach continues to grow, so do the opportunities. The Turf Department and their unique list of responsibilities is looking for people to join their team. The position is available to individuals who enjoy early mornings, a fast paced environment and endless learning avenues related to golf course maintenance, property maintenance and minor landscaping.

Must be able to work until October 31st.

Duties and Responsibilities

· General labour duties on the golf course as well as parks, amenities, and other property landscapes

· Heavy/light equipment operation in a safe manner

· Learn and aid in agronomic practices throughout the golf course and the property

· Keep shop/equipment clean and to Cobble Beach’s operating standards

· Can meet the physical demands of the operation

· Previous golf course or property maintenance experience is an asset but not a requirement

Working conditions

· Fast paced

·Ability to work on their feet for 8 hours

· Are willing and able to work in conditions associated with the outdoor position (hot/humid, cold, windy, snow, rain etc.)

Physical requirements

· Ability to lift and move heavy items, up to 50 lbs individually
