About The Community

Julie Lindal School is a Nursery to Grade 8 school with approximately 31 students located in Ilford, Manitoba which is 208 kms northeast of Thompson, Manitoba. This quaint community has a population of approximately 160 residents and is accessible by train or winter road. Community services include a small store, and medical services are provided by a visiting Doctor and community health worker.

What You Bring





- Bachelor of Education Degree and valid Manitoba Teaching Certificate (or eligibility for)
- A sound knowledge of provincial curricula
- Previous teaching experience
- A sound knowledge and experience with school-based technology
- Solid classroom management skills
- Knowledge of Indigenous Way of Life (considered an asset)
- Experience working in a norther community (considered an asset)
