About the Role
Are you a creative thinker who enjoys turning ideas into engaging visual experiences? GuardMe Insurance is looking for an experienced Graphic Designer to join our team and bring our brand, marketing campaigns, and digital experiences to life.
In this role, you’ll work across a diverse range of projects, including websites, digital campaigns, email communications, print materials, some video, social media, motion graphics, and more. From developing an initial concept to delivering the final creative, you’ll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact across multiple channels and audiences.

Responsibilities
Design
- Develop creative concepts and visual designs for a wide range of print and digital marketing materials, including advertisements, brochures, posters, web banners, website assets, email campaigns, illustrations, infographics, internal communications, and email templates with possibility of some social media overlap.
- Create and adapt visual content in accordance with GuardMe brand Marketing Guidelines, ensuring a consistent and recognizable brand experience across all channels.
- Translate campaign objectives and business requirements into engaging, audience-focused creative concepts and solutions.
- Present creative concepts and completed projects to internal key stakeholders, clearly communicating the rationale behind design decisions.
Document
- Maintain and contribute to the GuardMe brand Marketing Guidelines, reviewing and maintaining in company intranet.
- Design and maintain website content and visual assets while providing creative input to enhance the overall user experience.
- Support the development of digital communications, including web content, emails, video, social media content, and other digital initiatives.
- Contribute to initiatives designed to improve marketing performance by monitoring relevant metrics and insights through Adobe Customer Journey Analytics.
- Ensure creative materials meet brand standards, accessibility requirements, and AODA compliance.
- Track and analyze website and campaign performance and prepare regular reports and dashboards to communicate results and insights to the Executive Leadership Team.
Collaborate
- Collaborate with Marketing and other internal key stakeholders to understand project requirements, develop creative briefs, and deliver solutions that support business objectives.
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve marketing materials, campaigns, and processes through creative ideas and innovative solutions.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing priorities, timelines, and changing requirements while maintaining a high standard of quality.
- Provide support to the Marketing Manager on marketing-related activities, including coordinating collateral, supplies, shipping, and communication with internal teams and vendors.
- Participate in team meetings, planning sessions, and other collaborative activities as required.
Knowledge & Compliance
- Maintain expert knowledge of GuardMe's full suite of products and services
- Read, acknowledge, and comply with all policies and procedures of the organization
- Attend privacy and security training during onboarding and annually thereafter
- Immediately notify the Privacy Office of any incident or potential incident involving unauthorized access, use, copying, alteration, or disclosure of personal information
- Work collaboratively with the Privacy Office to gather information, implement corrective actions, and submit privacy incident reports as necessary
- Comply with all business policies and procedures, including annual privacy and security training
- Immediately report any potential or actual privacy or security incidents to the Privacy Office
Additional Duties This outlines the primary responsibilities and requirements for this role. However, duties, responsibilities, and activities may evolve based on organizational needs, strategic priorities, and emerging opportunities. The Social Media Specialist is expected to demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in response to changing business requirements while maintaining alignment with GuardMe’s purpose, values, and ethical standards.
Experience and Education
Experience
- 3–5 years of qualified Graphic Design experience, preferably within a creative or digital agency or a similar environment.
- Demonstrated understanding of design principles, including typography, colour, composition, layout, branding, and visual communication, with the ability to apply these principles across print and digital formats.
- Proven creative and conceptual thinking skills, with the ability to develop, present, and articulate ideas that align with business and marketing objectives.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities, meet tight deadlines,
and adapt to changing requirements in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience maintaining and overseeing brand consistency across a variety of marketing materials and communications.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator.
- Experience with Adobe CX Enterprise, specifically Adobe Journey Optimizer, is considered an asset.
- Familiarity with digital marketing platforms and tools, including social media, email marketing, website analytics, SEO/SEM, and mobile optimization.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Experience creating motion graphics, animation, and video content using Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro.
- Familiarity with Canva Pro, Hootsuite, or similar social media and digital marketing platforms is considered an asset.
- Experience working with CRM systems, such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, is considered an asset.
- Experience in videography and video editing is considered an asset.
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is considered an asset.
Education
- Post-secondary education in Graphic Design, Digital Design, or a related field.
- Fluency in spoken and written English is required; French language skills are considered an asset.
