Gravel Truck Driver

DeFord Contracting Inc. is looking for an experienced and hardworking Gravel Truck Driver’s for Civil Construction city projects in and around the Greater Edmonton Area.

Responsibilities:

- Comply with safe working procedures and practices
- Operate and maintain equipment in a safe and efficient manner
- Haul various materials to and from site
- Perform other related duties as required

Qualifications:

- MUST have a valid Class 3 license with Air Ticket
- MUST have a clean 5 Year Driver Abstract – MUST be included when applying (abstract can be attached in ‘additional files’ section when applying) (application without an attached driver’s abstract will NOT be considered)
- 2+ years’ experience driving tandem gravel trucks
- Experience working with Asphalt
- Excellent knowledge of city and surrounding areas




- Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
- Hauling asphalt experience a definite asset
- An active email address and a cell phone
- Experience doing proper pre trip inspections
- High level of integrity and work ethic
- Basic computer skills required
- Reliable and a positive attitude
