We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Grocery Store Cashier/Associate to join our team. Responsibilities

- Operate POS systems efficiently to process transactions accurately and quickly
- Assist customers with product inquiries, product demos, and upselling opportunities
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with precision and integrity
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area and store shelves through stocking and merchandising
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive shopping experience
- Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels and assisting with product replenishment
- Promote store promotions, sales,



and special offers to customers
- Supervise or assist in supervising staff during shifts as needed
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members using phone etiquette and clear communication skills

Qualifications

- Previous experience in retail sales, cashiering, or grocery store operations preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in person and over the phone
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and retail math calculations
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Bilingual abilities are advantageous for serving diverse customer needs
- Supervising experience is a plus for leadership roles within the team
- Knowledge of merchandising, product demos, upselling techniques, and stock management is beneficial
