Group Accounts Payable Lead For over 40 years, the companies of the Mansour Group have grown and evolved to meet the diverse needs of their customers in the mining, transportation, logistics, fabrication, and industrial sectors.

We are currently seeking a motivated and dynamic individual to join our team as a Group Accounts Payable Lead. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the ideal candidate will be someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, possesses excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Key Responsibilities

ACCOUNTS PAYABLE OPERATIONS

· Oversee the end-to-end operations of the accounts payable team, including invoice processing, payments, credit card reconciliations and expense report management

· Ensure all payments are processed accurately, in a timely manner, and in compliance with company policies

· Develop and enforce procurement policies and procedures

· Communicate with vendors and internal stakeholders regarding invoice and payment inquiries.

VENDOR MANAGEMENT

· Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers, including processing credit applications

· Ensure accurate vendor records, including banking information

· Serve as the primary contact for vendor inquiries regarding payments and account status

· Resolve vendor issues, discrepancies, or disputes effectively and professionally

TECHNOLOGY

· Identify and implement opportunities for process automation and efficiency improvement within the AP workflow

· Leverage AP automation tools and ERP systems to streamline processes and reduce manual effort





· Oversee the implementation and maintenance of accounts payable software and systems.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION

· Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

· Proven experience in accounts payable management, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience

· Experience with ERP systems and accounting software

SKILLS & ABILITIES

· Attention to detail and accuracy in processing invoices and payments

· Strong analytical and problem solving abilities

· Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis and pivot tables

· Excellent organizational skills and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks

· Effective communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders

· Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

· Ability to prioritize tasks, manage workload efficiently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
