Compensation: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour

Nature & Scope:

Reporting directly to the Supervisor, Fitness, the Group Fitness Instructor is responsible for providing safe, quality instruction to meet the needs of Members.

Responsibilities:

- Provide a welcoming and inclusive environment for members and guests
- Ensure a safe setting for members and guests by routinely checking any equipment and keeping areas clean and well maintained
- Ensure classes start on time and using approved music

Qualifications:

- Criminal Reference Check (CPIC)



including Vulnerable Sector Check completed not more than 120 days prior to date of hire, with results acceptable to the YMCA of Eastern Ontario
- Current Standard First Aid and CPR-C
- Current Group Fitness Instructor Certification
