The Common Cluster Solutions (CCS) Branch delivers enterprise Business Intelligence (BI), analytics, and KPI reporting services across ministries and internal business units. This role focuses on designing and delivering high-quality Power BI solutions that enable data-driven decision-making through performance reporting, analytics, and self-service BI tools.

The successful candidate will work on multiple priority initiatives, building scalable data models, dashboards, and reports while collaborating with stakeholders across technical and business domains.

Key Projects / Initiatives

The resource will contribute to the following approved projects:

- Compliance Enforcement Reporting – Phase 1 (PSISB)

- Compliance Enforcement Reporting – Phase 2 (PSISB)

- Animal Welfare Services (AWS) – Operational Reporting

- Modernized Use of Force Reporting

- eRoster Reporting

- Additional ongoing Power BI development initiatives within the branch

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and deploy Power BI reports, dashboards, and data models

- Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data using Power Query

- Analyze stakeholder requirements and translate them into BI solutions.

- Ensure alignment with organizational IT standards and processes

- Perform data profiling, cleansing, and transformation

- Optimize report performance (measures, relationships, visuals)

- Support system testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

- Collaborate with developers, testers, and program managers

- Document solutions, processes, and deliverables

- Participate in knowledge transfer sessions with internal teams

- Deliver high-quality, user-friendly visualizations for executive and operational audiences

- Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Power BI Developer / Report Developer

- Solid expertise in:

- Power BI (Desktop & Service)

- DAX (Data Analysis Expressions)

- Experience with:

- Data modeling (star schema, snowflake schema)
