As a vital member of the Biochemistry Department, you will support the research program directed by Dr. Matthew S Miller. This position requires a Bachelor’s degree and two years of relevant experience in laboratory settings. You will design exercises, coordinate experiments, and ensure proper operation of the lab, making a significant contribution to combat infectious diseases.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop new experimental procedures and training materials • Manage laboratory schedules and oversee daily tasks • Conduct initial lab setups and maintain equipment • Collect and analyze experimental data accurately • Ensure compliance with laboratory safety standards
Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in a life science discipline • 2 years of hands-on lab experience • Familiarity with biosafety level 3 lab protocols • Solid background in molecular biology • Experience with laboratory inventory management
