About the Role

The Company is in search of an Associate Vice President for Policy and Stakeholder Engagement. This senior leadership role is pivotal in leading the organization's policy and engagement function, serving as a primary source of policy expertise, and supporting work aligned with public policy objectives. The successful candidate will be responsible for policy stewardship, providing expert advice to ensure policies meet the Council's mandate and strategic goals, and leading stakeholder engagement processes. This includes designing and executing engagement activities that are inclusive, transparent, and purposeful, and that ultimately inform policy and decision-making. The role also involves leading a team,



setting priorities, and fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Candidates for this role at the company should have a university degree in a relevant field, with a solid preference for those with additional education or experience in areas such as product management, service design, or public administration. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in public policy development, implementation, and evaluation, as well as experience in leading teams and working with a variety of stakeholders. Strong knowledge of public policy principles, engagement practices, and the ability to work with complex technical and legislative information is essential. The role requires a leader who can balance policy, stakeholder trust, enterprise influence, and people leadership, and who is committed to the values of the organization, including integrity, collaboration, and a focus on meaningful impact.
