The Madison Care Centre is hiring two Licensed Practical Nurses for temporary coverages. You'll work closely with residents, families, and a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal care. The role includes performing assessments, planning care, and helping with electronic documentation, enhancing the well-being of all residents.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage resident admissions and transfers
• Conduct comprehensive resident assessments
• Administer medications and provide wound care
• Collaborate through the electronic documentation system
• Participate in care conferences and medication reviews
Requirements:
• Current BCCNM registration and positive standing
• Up-to-date CPR/First Aid certificate
• Experience with electronic documentation systems
• Effective critical thinking abilities
• Previous long-term care experience preferred
