We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Head Accountant to lead our finance team with energy and precision. Duties

- Lead the accounting department in managing day-to-day financial activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger management.
- Oversee the preparation of financial statements, ensuring they are accurate, timely, and compliant with relevant accounting standards.
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Wave, and on site training for Buildium Property Management Software capabilities.
- Conduct thorough account reconciliations and detailed account analysis to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions swiftly.
- Manage budgeting processes by preparing forecasts, monitoring expenses, and providing insights for financial planning.
- Supervise the account reconciliation process regularly to maintain data integrity across all ledgers.




- Ensure compliance with internal controls and external regulations while maintaining transparent documentation for audits.
- Lead efforts in optimizing accounting workflows through automation and best practices to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Experience

- Proven experience in accounting roles with a strong background in managing comprehensive accounting functions.
- Extensive knowledge of accounting software such as QuickBooks, Wave, and on site training for Buildium Property Management.
- Demonstrated expertise in accounts payable and receivable management along with payroll processing.
- Strong skills in account reconciliation, account analysis, budgeting, and financial reporting.
- Prior experience leading an accounting team or department is highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical skills combined with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and effectively to stakeholders at all levels.
