We value health equity, inclusion, community engagement, accountability & transparency, excellence and collaboration & partnerships.Position Summary:As a member of Flemingdon Health Centre's integrated backbone team, this role will provide operational support to partner organizations across the North York and East Toronto Ontario Health Teams. The Digital Health Supervisor supports physicians, nurse practitioners, and clinical teams with EMR systems, digital health tools, workflow optimization, troubleshooting, training, data quality, and reporting across FHC, HATP, partner primary care practices, and community sites. The role requires regular travel across North York and East Toronto to provide in-person support, onboarding, and training.Responsibilities include:EMR & Digital Health SupportProvide front-line support to physicians, nurse practitioners, and clinical staff regarding EMR-related issues, workflows, and digital toolsAssist providers with EMR-related queries, troubleshooting,



and workflow optimizationResolve data quality errors, manage lab workflow issues, and maintain accurate provider/client information within EMR systemsSupport implementation and optimization of digital health tools and provincial systems including referrals, lab integrations, and reporting toolsProvide in-person support and technical assistance at clinic and community sites as requiredMaintain consistent practices across sites and support standardization of workflows and processesTraining & OnboardingTrain new providers and clinic staff on EMR systems, workflows, templates, and required documentation practicesDevelop educational materials, workflow guides, and tip sheets for providers and staffSupport onboarding activities related to EMR access, system navigation, and digital health toolsPromote adoption and optimization of digital health solutions and workflow efficienciesDecision Support & Data QualityAssist with data quality monitoring, audits, validation, and clean-up activitiesSupport projects involving data sharing, reporting, multi-database integration, and quality improvement initiativesConduct data audits and support privacy investigations related to data quality or potential breachesAssist with maintaining data integrity to support organizational reporting and decision-makingSupport tracking of service requests, user access, asset management, and audit activitiesCollaboration & Organizational SupportCollaborate with Decision Support team, providers, leadership teams, external partners, and other government organizations on digital health and quality improvement initiativesProvide backup support to ensure continuity of internal operations and servicesContribute to policy and procedure development related to EMR workflows, data management, and privacy practicesParticipate in organizational projects, meetings, committees, and training activities as requiredSupport continuous improvement initiatives and identify opportunities to enhance workflows and provider experienceEnsure client privacy, confidentiality,



and compliance with organizational and legislative requirementsOther RequirementsRegular travel between sites and community practices is requiredMaintains confidentiality and exercises sound judgement in handling sensitive information.Performs all duties in alignment with organizational values, policies, and safety standardsAll other duties as assignedSkills and Qualifications:Undergraduate degree or diploma in Health Informatics, Computer Science, Health Administration, Information Technology, Medical Office Administration, or related fieldMinimum 2–3 years of related experience supporting EMR systems, digital health tools, healthcare operations, or technical support in a healthcare settingExperience working within a primary care or community healthcare setting preferredKnowledge of Electronic Medical Record systems such as Practice Solutions Suite (PSS), Accuro, OSCAR, or other healthcare information systems preferredStrong understanding of healthcare privacy, confidentiality, and data security practicesExperience with data quality initiatives, reporting tools, audits, workflow analysis, or quality improvement considered an assetStrong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical usersExcellent interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to build strong working relationshipsStrong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities independentlyHigh attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and qualityDemonstrated analytical, critical thinking, and decision-making skillsAbility to work collaboratively and effectively within interdisciplinary teamsFlexibility and adaptability within a fast-paced and evolving healthcare environmentValid Ontario driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle considered an assetPolice clearance documentation may be required for employmentWe encourage applications from individuals who can identify with the diverse communities we serve.
